My daughter has loved her classes with the Lebeor School of Art. The wonderful thing about the school is that they are willing to meet you where you are at the start, but they treat students like they are all serious contenders for important programs and opportunities in the future. With that in mind, there are structured, detailed, and sophisticated lessons that both challenge the children and treat them with mature respect. We have done other art programs online and in person in the past. None has been as instructive or fundamentally skill-enhancing as the Lebeor School of Art.

Over the course of the year, they worked in pencil, watercolors, acrylics, gouache, and more. It's been wonderful to see the tremendous improvement and advancement week after week.

We will definitely continue with Lebeor in preparation for art-focused middle and high school exams, but also just for the enrichment it provides. It's a terrific opportunity for real artistic enhancement and advancement. I can't recommend it more highly.

During the Coronavirus-Covid 19, I attended Virtual Lebeor Art Classes by Art Teacher Leon Belokon. It has been a very uplifting & interesting experience for all ages! It brings me so much joy!

For I am finally back,as an adult, in the world of the creative arts! Amen! I am so grateful & excited to have the opportunity to be in class with so many talented young artists! It has been fun & interesting learning about various famous artists'’ techniques using different media!
Leon has a unique way of allowing his students to be courageous and free to create while learning & maintaining traditional techniques in their own artwork!

Yet again, Mr. Leon proves he is a caring, talented, insightful teacher. Leon was the first teacher who started offering virtual classes. We were a bit skeptical as our daughter asks for help in class a lot. Now almost two months later, my daughter is looking forward to each class. Leon manages to overlook each student’s progress and give valuable, easy-to-understand instructions. In my daughter’s case, the virtual classes became very beneficial as she learned to accomplish her projects without physical help from her teacher or his assistants. Thank you, Leon and everyone at the studio, for keeping your students motivated and eager to continue attending the art classes.

I am one of Mr. Leon's students since I am 8 y.o. This September, I'll start high school. Mr. Leon's virtual classes are great. Everything runs smoothly, and there are no problems. I get to keep painting and drawing from the safety and comfort of my home. I am glad we have these classes, or I would not have been drawing as much as I am now. It's always some new exciting projects. Mr. Leon always helps with his meaningful and practical advice and suggestions. He encourages me and all his students to work independently and use our imagination. But at the same time, Mr. Leon ensures we learn all the necessary skills to be real artists.

Lebeor Art School is a great place to learn art for kids. Leon and his assistants are great instructors. My daughter has attended the school for 2 years and still enjoys every lesson. We can see the progress in her work, and her skills have improved drastically since she started the classes.
Also, the school still works during the quarantine - they work online through Zoom meetings. The meetings are really fulfilling and productive. It is amazing how quickly the management reacted and organized the online teaching - we had no interruption in studying!
Leon's school was recommended by many people whose kids attended the classes for many years. All of them achieved certain success in art and are happy they chose the school!

With all the craziness of distant learning, I was a little skeptical of how you can continue art classes online. How is it possible to have the same quality of instructions, as high as during "live" classes? All my doubts are gone (unfortunately, not the quarantine), and I can see that Mr. Leon managed to keep virtual classes with the same high professionalism and excellent teaching skills. My daughter enjoys the classes and appreciates Mr. Leon's passion for art and willingness to share it with his students. Technical support is excellent. All you need is your eagerness to learn art and some paper, pencils, and paints. These virtual classes give one a wonderful opportunity to escape the reality of quarantine and expand the room's boundaries to see the world and express yourself!

All the instructors at Lebeor are very helpful, and they have taught me so much in the past 9 years that I have been going there. They teach all the kids a certain proper way to draw at first, and then they allow you to express yourself however you want freely, yet continue to help and teach you through every work. With Leon’s help, I have made many successful works and have won a couple of art contests, and he is always there to support and help you in a fun way.

I met Mr. Leon for the first time when I was an elementary school student. He recognized my art talent immediately and managed to navigate it throughout many years as my skills were improving. Due to his thoughtful and careful instruction, I got accepted to Bay Academy gifted and talented school, and later to LaGuardia HS in the art major. Mr. Leon's classes are always something to look forward to since he knows how to find the right approach to each one of his students, his projects open our minds and our perception of art, and his knowledge and passion to expand our talents are clearly apparent. When I got to HS, I stopped attending his classes because of my busy schedule. But I was always missing the special aura of Lebeor's classes. So now, in 12-th grade, I'm back and better than ever. Did you ever think of taking art classes to expand your perspectives or to learn how to make something truly beautiful and aesthetic? When I first started taking Lebeor art classes, I thought it’s going to be similar to all other art classes, boring and you don’t really learn anything from the teacher about art, but I was pleasantly surprised when I started coming to his classes. I learned a lot about art techniques and I even practiced them! Furthermore, everything that I learned in Lebor classes helped me a lot to pass my art examinations and find some new friends that shared the same passion for art. Even though I was drawing traditionally, I still could’ve applied these art techniques in my digital artwork.
